Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast to win 4 gold medals. She also claimed the world championship for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. Simone was interested in gymnastics when she was just six during a day-care field trip to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years under the direction of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite gymnastics in the year the year 2011. Biles was a dominant athlete within a mere two years. Biles's consistent, exuberant character and her high level of challenge during her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercises -- helped to set her above the others.
